About The Position

We are a global, data-driven, end-to-end e-commerce powerhouse. With our main offices located in Tel Aviv and our workforce spread across various centers worldwide, we are leaders in our personalized, on-demand, classic, and fashionable jewelry category.

We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Director of Data & Analytics to lead our data department and manage data infrastructure, reporting, analysis, and business intelligence across the company. In this role, you will oversee data strategy, collaborate with business units to drive data-driven decisions, manage data products, and integrate them into our websites and software.                         

You will shape the company's future of data and analytics, driving innovation and operational excellence through advanced data tools and insights.

Responsibilities

●    Lead the Data & Analytics Strategy: Shape the vision for data within the company and drive strategic initiatives that empower business units to make data-driven decisions.

●    Lead & Mentor the Data Team: Manage and develop a diverse data team that includes Data Engineering, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Analysts (BA), Data Product Management, and remote data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

●    Data Infrastructure & AI Integration: Oversee the development and optimization of data systems such as data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines. Drive the adoption of AI technologies and tools, ensuring that AI-powered insights and automation are integrated across all aspects of data and analytics workflows.

● Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with senior leaders (including CTO, Product, Marketing, and Sales) to identify and prioritize data initiatives to drive revenue growth, customer experience improvements, and operational efficiencies.

●    Data-Driven Product Management: Manage the lifecycle of data products, ensuring they are effectively integrated into business operations, product development, and decision-making processes.

●    Quality and Performance Oversight: Ensure production data systems and pipelines' availability, reliability, and performance. Own the monitoring and continuous improvement of data flows and update cycles.

● Foster Data Literacy and Adoption: Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization. Empower teams with self-service BI tools and dashboards and ensure business stakeholders can leverage data insights effectively.

Requirements

●    Proven Leadership in Data & Analytics: Minimum of 4-5 years in a senior leadership role within data and analytics, including experience in managing cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and BI professionals.

●    Technical Depth in Data Engineering: Hands-on experience building and maintaining modern data infrastructures such as data lakes, data warehouses, and scalable data pipelines. Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and cloud-based data architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

●    AI Expertise: Deep enthusiasm for AI technologies and tools, with demonstrable experience in adopting and implementing AI and machine learning models to solve business problems. Familiarity with AI platforms and integration into business operations is a significant advantage.

●    Business Intelligence (BI) Expertise: Strong background in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc.) and data visualization. Ability to deliver actionable insights that influence business decisions at all levels.

●    Experience in Team Leadership & Mentorship: Proven track record of leading and mentoring high-performing data teams. Strong focus on people management, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture, and providing ongoing mentorship to help team members grow professionally. Ability to identify individual strengths, offer tailored development opportunities, and create a supportive environment where top talent can thrive and achieve their full potential.

●    Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong understanding of how to turn complex data sets into strategic insights, driving operational improvements and revenue growth.

●    E-Commerce Experience (Preferred): Experience working in e-commerce or similar fast-paced, data-driven industries where customer behavior, product recommendations, and personalization are key drivers of business growth.
