VP Supply Chain

About The Position

We are looking for a VP Supply Chain to join us!


As a VP Supply Chain, you will have Full responsibility for materials management in the industries organization; also, you will be planning the material flow for products and spare parts; managing the purchasing and deliveries to the production floors; managing the logistics and warehouse; creating and establishing methods for materials management; and responsible for the optimization of the organization’s raw materials inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the materials planning for 4 production sites.
  • Assume overall responsibility for the material flow and on time deliveries
  • Manage all day to day purchasing activities, open orders, Vendors performance and all other tactical purchasing aspects.
  • Annual purchasing strategy based on statistical information and data from the sales department.
  • Annual work plan, analysis of reports and indices, KPIs, forecasts, framework orders and cost.
  • Creating an annual COST program, implementing the program and meet it. 
  • Manage the logistics activities including in-house warehouses.
  • Act as the interface between HQ and the industries organization for all open supply chain issues and escalations to ensure best in class delivery to customers and to drive revenue.
  • Manage, analyze, and report on inventory levels to meet corporate goals while keeping availability intact 
  • Establish processes and implement best practices to maintain operations' flexibility and ability to adjust quickly to the fluctuations in the customers' demand
  • Work with production plants to implement best in class supply process using lean methodology and pull mechanisms in the production floors
  • Balance capacity and supply requirements through the plants

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct reports include the material planning, purchasing, floor control, logistics and warehouse. 

Requirements

  • BSc or BA degree in industrial management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent level and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar management role.
  •  MBA – advantage
  •  Well experienced in materials planning.
  •  Experienced in vendors management and purchasing processes
  •  Ability to manage highly complex and/or critical internal and external relationships requiring diplomatic and strong negotiating, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proven success in developing scalable processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  •  Experience developing and implementing KPI’s to track goals.
  •   A good introduction to SAP - a must
  •   A high level of proficiency in assessing, developing, and managing people.
