About The Position

The Planning Department manager will be responsible for leading a global team, managing consumption forecast, global inventory management, and production planning (work orders) in the company's factories.

The role includes managing the inventory of raw materials and finished goods, developing production plans, focusing specifically on work orders, and planning raw material requirements. Additionally, it involves managing the coordination between procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure product availability on time while optimizing inventory levels.

Responsibilities

1. Inventory demand planning:

- Managing raw materials, consumables and packaging inventory based on forecast and production allocation across 4 company’s plants domestically and globally.

- Defining and implementing inventory management policies based on sales forecasts and market demand.

 - Analysing inventory levels and optimizing processes to reduce costs while maintaining products availability.

2. Forecast Management:

- Leading the company’s S&OP process. 

- Overseeing sales and supply forecasts based on data analysis and market trends.

- Monitoring, reporting, and managing performance metrics (KPIs) such as inventory levels, raw materials availability and forecast accuracy.

3.  Planning Process Management:

- Creating purchasing demands based on sales forecasts and market trends.

- Building and overseeing quarterly purchasing budgets.

 - Managing and integrating planning with the procurement, production, and logistics departments.

Requirements

-  3-5 Proven experience in inventory management and logistical planning in a manufacturing     company, preferably in global companies.

-  Deep familiarity with ERP systems and planning tools – preference for experience with SO99 and SAP B1.

-  Strong understanding of inventory management, forecasting, and data analysis.

-  Ability to manage both local and global teams.

-  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

- Excellent proficiency in English.
